This morning I warmed up on a new scale, F# harmonic minor II (I) in the Shearer book. It's got two shifts in it, including one between 2 and 4. It was fun to work on a new scale pattern.
I spent most of this morning's practice in Elegie. I'm working through the third line of the adagio and it's coming along well. I also spent some time on the preceding arpeggio section, and figured out that it's much cleaner and more secure if I have my left thumb higher up, under ⑤ or ⑥.
