It's been a while since my last post, but I've been practicing.
In Elegie, I've made it most of the way through the first page of the adagio. It's coming along nicely, and I've also been smoothing out the preceding parts.
I offered a duet to Mimi to prepare for family camp, and she likes it as much as I do: Gabriel Faure's Pavane, Op. 50. I think Yuri gave me this copy, which is a guitar/flute duet. I bought an iPad app for music notation (Notion) and have transcribed the flute part separately for her so it's less confusing to read. Today I fingered the left hand of my part.
Finally, the past couple of weeks I've been working on G major scale exercises based around CV(IV). I hadn't realized this fertile ground for becoming more familiar with the fingerboard, and I'm excited to do more scale exercises using this pattern.
