Lower saddle

I've noticed my Usherovich is less comfortable to play than my Byerses, and I think the action is a major part of that.  I'm trying a lower action saddle that Mark made and am finding it's much more comfortable, but there are two issues.  First, higher fretted notes are a hair flat.  Not a big issue (so far).  Second, and more worrying, is that the brilliant sound had become a bit duller.  I did some research and Alan Carruth says he's done experiments that show you lose ~25% of the power in higher overtones from lower action, so that explains it. Not sure if the trade-off is worth it.
